This week, I chose an assortment of unique crafts that celebrates the warmer weather that spring will be bringing, along with all its greenery and bright colors. I made sure to add an Easter craft in there too, since Easter is only a few weeks away (Easter this year is on April 5th). The best thing about link parties is that everyone brings their unique sense of style, and you get to "meet" new bloggers and be introduced to blogs new and old!
How cute is this Easter Egg Banner, made from book pages? Maggie made a whole string of these eggs to string up along her wall, perfect to bring the bright colors of spring indoors (especially if you still might have snow on the ground). I love that she chose to sew the eggs together to create her colorful banner!
Anna created a great activity for her boys using okra for vegetable stamping. While okra is not a vegetable that I've ever cooked, I love the shape it makes when you cut it in half! It looks just like a flower, perfect for stamping spring pictures!
The weather is getting warmer, so its time to bring those craft projects outside! I love how Amanda incorporated the creativity of painting and science of gardening into this project for her children. I mean, really, how cute are these smiling grass heads?
Amanda of The Kolb Corner created another one of her floral grapevine wreaths, and its so pretty. You almost can't believe that she found her berries at the dollar store! Purple, green, and white berries remind me of the blooms of spring, and the burlap ribbon is a nice rustic touch.
Roxanne took design into her own hands and created these moss topiaries. You wouldn't believe how easy these are to make, and they look like something you would find at a luxury design store!
